Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras’ Midsommar Celebration was the kick-off concert to celebrate their June 2019 Tour of the Baltics. I pulled from traditional folk embroidery from the region to create summery floral branding for the event.
For Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras’ performance of Edgard Varèse’s Amériques, I wanted to channel the work’s avant-garde complexity and the composer’s inspiration from bustling 1920’s New York.
I created a digital “family portrait” of four dogs as a gift for a canine-loving family. Each dog was illustrated separately, then the four dogs were composited together, printed, and framed.
